Description of the problem | My windshield cracked for no apparent reason. Crack originated under the windshield wiper blades and spread when i turned the heat on to the middle of the windshield. The vehicle was parked when i first noticed the crack, at which point it was already approximately 7 inches long. I took it to the dealer and asked that it be covered under the warranty since there was no damage to the windshield, and they took detailed pictures (charlie's subaru in august, me). |
