Description of the problem	This complaint is a follow-on to nhtsa id number: 10919981. I am now being told by the dealer that they do not know when the part(s) will be available to make the repairs related to this recall. The dealer now tells me that i can take possession of my slingshot if i sign a waiver of liability, which i am not willing to do. Once again i contacted polaris who told me that it still is no considered a "do not ride" recall. Why then would the dealer require that i sign a waiver of liability in order to take possession of the vehicle that i own? In addition, while polaris can not tell me when the parts to complete the repair related to this recall and that it will likely be more than a month before the parts are available. I maintain that if i am not in possession of the vehicle for a minimum of a month, polaris should provide compensation. Polaris has said that they are not willing to provide such compensation. It would seem the only recourse for owners would be to file a class action lawsuit against polaris for compensation in lieu of use of the vehicles which they have paid for or are paying for.
