| Description of the problem | I am also having issues with my fuel sensor unit in my 2007 nissan xterra at 38,500 miles. I filled at the gas station, getting ready to leave on vacation and then it went down to empty. The ses light came on, so decided to cancel my vacation! A couple of days later the needle went back to full. After filling gas 4 times, my ses light has gone off and it seems to be working, but do not let it go below half a tank to be sure. And, of course it is not part of the recall for the 2006 & 2008 models that use the same exact sensor unit.... How convenient for nissan! |
