Description of the problem	I have a 2007 nissan xterra stopped in to gas station on a 1/4 tank to fill-up on 5/25/2011 put in $85. 00 worth. While driving i noticed my gas gauge was still reading 1/4 of a tank and then my indicator light came on stating service engine soon after driving a few milles the gas gauge slowly went back up to full however the service indicator light still stay on. I went to a service station and was told that the problem was the fuel sending unit sensor and to check with the nissan dealer to see if this promlem would be covered under the warrenty. On 5/26/2011 called nissan dealer service dept was told this was not covered due to the fact that my car had over 30k. Did some reseach online and found out that many of the 2005-07 nissan's are having the same problem. Nissan had a recall for their 2000-2004 car's which had the same problem - i beleive this is a major problem and should be handled in the same manner the earlier models were handled by recall.
