Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 nissan xterra. The contact was driving approximately 50 mph when the vehicle stalled due to having no fuel. The contact stated that the fuel level gauge displayed that the fuel tank was half full. The vehicle was not inspected for the failure. The manufacture was contacted and stated the vehicle was not covered by the warranty and the contact would have to pay for the cost of repairs. The contact later received an extended warranty notification from the manufacturer for vehicles under 72,000 miles that had experienced the fuel tank failure however, the contacts vehicle was over the mileage at the time of notification.
