Description of the problem	2007 nissan xterra fuel sending unit failed to show fuel being used in the gas tank. Gauge stayed at half full for a couple of days then service engine soon light came on and gauge went to empty. I cant tell how much fuel is in the tank,i cant get an inspection sticker and the vehicle is out of warrenty. The problem has not been repaired yet because it will cost me at least $400. 00.
