Description of the problem	On or about may 20, 2010 i had 1/4 tank of gas and went to fill up. After filling up the gas tank, i turned on the truck and the gas needle did not register as being full. The service engine light came on. I drove about 70 miles and it finally went up to the full mark, but the "ses" light did not go out. About a week later, when i filled the gas tank, i turned the engine on and the needle went to below the "e" mark and the reserve light came on as well as the "ses" light. I took the truck to the nissan dealer and was told that it was the fuel sending unit/sensor and that it would cost about $400 to repair. I was also informed at that time that there is a nation wide backorder on the part that is needed and they had no idea when the part would be in stock. I was also told that there has been a recall for this problem but it does not include my year of vehicle. I own a 2007 xterra with aprox. 38,000 miles.
