Description of the problem | I filled up my 2007 nissan xterra at the gas station. When i started driving down the road the fuel gauge showed it was on empty and the service engine soon light came on. After about 100 miles of driving the fuel gauge started to go up. The next time i filled up the car with gas the same problem happened. Then while waiting at a bank drive-thru the gas gauge went to empty even though there was over half a tank of gas. Nissan recently recalled vehicles for fuel gauge problems, but the nissan dealership told me today that my car is not included in the recall even though i am having the same problem. I have to track how many miles i am driving, so i do not run out of gas. |
