| Description of the problem | At around 75000 miles my fuel sending unit failed on my 2007 nissan xterra. This is a very common issue with this vehicle and has been documented by nissan in ntb07-069b. This condition causes the vehicle to show improper fuel levels and throws the following check engine code. By not knowing exactly when this vehicle will be out of fuel it can be an unsafe condition for my wife and granddaughter to ride long distances in this vehicle. |
