Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan xterra. While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle began to independently decelerate until reaching 20 mph and would not travel over the speed. There was also a burning odor coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the clutch was burned out. The dealer replaced the disc assembly, fly wheel and clutch. The failure did not recur.
