| Description of the problem | Today, i had about 1/4 tank of gas and filled up before taking a short road trip. When i turned the car back on, the gas gauge read empty and the low fuel light was on. I pulled over, checked to make sure the gas cap was on properly and started the car back up. The gauge still read empty, the low fuel light was still on, and a few miles down the road, the service engine soon light came on. I have found out that this is caused by a defective fuel system sensor that is a know defect. |
