Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan xterra. While driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle ran out of fuel even though the fuel tank had more than a half tank of fuel. The failure occurred without warning. When the fuel tank was filled up at the fuel station, the fuel gauge indicated empty and the fuel tank icon illuminated. The failure recurred.
