Description of the problem	Just purchased 2 wks ago a 2005 nissan xterra. At first the fuel gauge was slow to show the fuel level but it showed if it was half full or close to empty. Now just two days ago our daughter called us saying she just filled the vehicle with gas and the fuel gauge is showing it is completely empty - fuel light is on. I have been all over the internet looking at how to fix the problem and how common of a problem it is-wow, its a seriously common problem. This is a serious hazard for my young teenage daughter! If she runs out of gas it could cause an accident. There appears to be no recall on this and from what i am seeing, it costs a lot of money to fix this problem-a problem that nissan should fix!
