Description of the problem	I have a 2005 nissan xterra 4x4. Just recently i filled up my gas tank to full, but when i looked at my fuel gauge it just stayed at the half mark. It took a couple of hours before it climbed to full. My mileage was at 44,950 miles when this first occurred. It is still happening everytime i have to fill my gas tank. I keep filling at half because i'm afraid i will run out of gas on the freeway. I've noticed some other 2005 xterra owners had the same problem. They should have a recall on this because of their malfunctioning part. I called nissan about this but they told me my car was not covered because my car vin# was not under it.
