Description of the problem	My 2005 nissan xterra has experienced a failure of the fuel sending unit which causes the incorrect amount of fuel to be displayed on the gas gauge, causing the potential for running out of fuel on the highway and a significant danger to the driver and passengers. Nissan is currently recalling model year 2006 and up vehicles but has not yet included the 2005s. It is imperative that nissan include the 2005 models as well.
