Description of the problem | Vehicle moves abruptly left and right when moving. Happens most obviously when at high speeds on the highway letting off the gas pedal to slow or coast for a moment and then pressing gas to speed up again. Works the same when shifting (manual transmission) at low speeds. Two independent mechanics acknowledge the issue, but could find no cause or solution--it is not grooves in the road or tires or such things. One mechanic called nissan, who said they've had similar complaints with this vehicle, but they can't do anything about it. The vehicle is not safe to drive above 30-40 mph as the wobble in the front end is significant as described. It's not the struts, not the control arms, etc. No code comes up for any electronics issue. It is a manufacturing problem. |
