| Description of the problem | I noticed an arching sound coming from underneath the truck. Upon inspection i noticed a bright white arc every 30-32 seconds coming from the fuel line to the top of the frame rail. After taking it to the dealer, nissan came back and said that this was a "normal condition due to a static build up in the fuel system, no repair necessary". If this is normal why didn't my truck do it when i first bought it? Also, if it is normal why don't they all do it? It will do this during all modes of operation and will even continue after the engine has been shut off if the ignition is turned back on. |
