| Description of the problem | I merging into highway traffic and lost most all engine power. I pulled over onto side of highway and looked under hood and under truck for signs of why. I saw a waterfall of fluid gushing off of transmission case. Smelled diesel fuel i turned off engine and called a tow truck. I had several gallons of fuel that had poured out of injector that came loose and over engine and transmission. Truck was towed to dealers. This could have been a deadly incident in two ways for passengers and other drivers on highway. Temperature was 90 plus degrees and sunny. Very hot. |
