Description of the problem | Purchased new 2016 nissan titan xd had severe downshift problem where vehicle would shift so abruptly it would feel like you slammed on brake pedal. Today while turning left from stop light a gas truck in first lane failed to stop at traffic light. I hit the accelerator to pull away and no throttle response at all. Had the driver of the other truck not brought his vehicle to stop injury or death would have surely resulted. I've owned nearly 100 new cars of all makes models types etc and have driven without an accident for over 40 years. I've never felt more unsafe in a new car and i've contacted dealer who acknowledged this has been widely reported problem with this vehicle! Once again car manufacturers would rather wait until someone dies than fix the problem! |
