| Description of the problem | Applied brakes and brake light came on. Pedal was soft and made a grinding sound. Brakes still worked but not very well. Cleared the problem by turning off engine and restarting. This has happened before. I video taped with my cell phone before resetting. Had this checked several years ago and dealer reset something. He said it may or may not fix the problem. It didn't fix the problem. He said the cost to replace the faulty part would be approx.$900. 00. I feel this should be a recall as it is a potential hazard if braking had to be done suddenly at a high rate of speed. |
