Description of the problem	Though we did not know it at the time, the fuel vapor emissions control unit had a small fire into the charcoal chamber and the solenoid switch. This attaches to the gas tank so when we saw it, we were horrified. I have saved the unit and had it replaced. Nissan dealer said there was no recall on it, but the new unit was built somewhat differently. Also have pictures if you would like. *js
