| Description of the problem | Maintained the vehicle with the dealership. Even performed the transmission flush a few months prior. Went to back the vehicle into the garage and there was not reverse. The truck would rev the engine and shake and at high rpm the vehicle would begin to slightly reverse. The next morning i took the truck into the dealership and the transmission was blown. As was the manifold (the manifold was covered by warranty, the transmission was no longer covered). At a little over 60,000 miles and not using the vehicle to tow why did the reverse (which was the only gear affected) and the transmission go out. This is an automatic transmission. |
