Description of the problem	While driving, heard a bang, did not notice any damage at first. Later once the truck was parked at home seen the driver side rear leaf spring was pushed through the bed of the truck. (have pictures, if needed) the part pushed through the metal of the bed as well as the spray on bed liner. Took truck to the local garage, was afraid to drive any further than just a couple miles. The mechanic stated that he could not believe that this happened given the year of the truck. Upon further examination he recommended that the passenger side be replaced as well, before it broke also, he stated that it was very thin metal. The replacement part was purchased at the a dealer and i was told that they have had numerous incidents where this part has broken causing similar damage. Repairs to the truck will also require replacing the truck bed possible. This truck has not been taken off road nor has it been used to haul items, it has a fiberglass bed cover on it.
