Description of the problem	2006 nissan titan 4x4, while driving on trip with young daughter heard loud bang from rear of truck. Observed road for any debris i may have hit, found nothing. Performed quick inspection on side of road & saw nothing, continued trip & noticed bad ride from suspension. Reinspected after arriving home & found that one of the leaf spring shackles had snapped in two and threw the leaf spring into the bed of the truck causing a hole in the bed. The failed shackle also caused excessive pressure to the shock absorber causing it to fail also. Replaced the shackles and shocks but still have a bad rattle coming from rear end. Aarg!!!!
