Description of the problemTraveled to syracuse, ny with friend son sunday 2-22-09. Noticed brake noise and weak braking power. On return to home in evening, had near accident due to bad braking. Took truck to nissan dealer 2-24-09. Dealer said truck out of warranty (11,868 miles)had it repaired. I was told that i should have driven the vehicle more. The problem is typical of this truck due to light use. I am sure there are other vehicles on the road with dangerous braking power since the truck is nearly new. I asked nissan for a refund for the repair of $ 1116. 77 which they claimed was routine maintenance. They should not wait until someone has a bad accident before this defect is corrected.
