Description of the problemI took my titan in to have the rotors turned and was informed that the rear axle seals were leaking. According to what i have read and been told this is very common to the titans and can ruin your brakes as well. Some people have reported having to replace them 2 or 3 times. Nissan now recommends changing out the entire axle at your expense unless it is still under warranty. The problem is mine have probably been leaking since it was under warranty, but is now too late because it is no longer under warranty and you can't tell that they are leaking until it has been leaking long enough to get gear oil to a visible spot. I haven't had it fixed yet as i am weighing out the best option for me as far as replacing the seals or the whole axle assembly. This is very dangerous due to the possible ramifications to he brake system.
