Description of the problem	I have a 2006 nissan titan 4wd. Last year, after a long trip, i took it to get an oil change, and the mechanic told me the rear axel was leaking. This was in july of 2008, and the vehicle had 48,813 miles on it. I got it fixed. Then 11 months later, again after a long trip, the same thing happened. This was in june of 2009, and the vehicle had 63,914 miles on it. I went online to see if anyone else was having this problem, and apparently it is an ongoing problem that is happening to a large number of nissan titan owners. Some are reporting that the oil is leaking onto the rear brakes, causing them to fail. I have not noticed this yet, but each time i caught my leak early. I have also read that the 2008 titan has a new rear axel design that has addressed this issue. Obviously, nissan is aware of the problem, because they have already addressed the issue in the later models. This is a very dangerous problem, and nissan should recall the earlier models to rectify the situation.
