| Description of the problem | I continue to have a constant whining sound coming from the rear differential unit at 55 & 60 mph. The unit was replaced by the dealer at 29335 miles because it was whining at 55 mph. The new unit was quit when new but now is as loud as the previous one at 60mph. This sound is annoying & never goes away while driving these speeds. I am concerned it is a design flaw & will either fail when it is out of warranty or cause me to be stranded. I hear a lot about axle seal leaks & diff. Units failing on the titans. The current mileage on the truck is approx. 35k. |
