Description of the problem	Nissan titan (36k miles), 2006 model. The abs control module went bad causing the car speedometer to quit working as well as the cars transmission to jump into and out of gear while on the road. Caused the car to slow dramatically on the interstate and could cause a crash. I brought the car into nissan at rivergate in tn (thinking this was being caused by the current recall tied to the emc, engine control module) and they told me it was the abs control module and it would cost $1,500 to repair, where the emc costs $2 to repair. Makes me wonder if nissan correctly identified their current issue with the cars electronic controls, or maybe that they've chosen to tie the recall to a cheap component and allow the dealer to then jig the consumer for the higher priced component. In either case, i feel this is a safety issue.
