| Description of the problem | My rear leaf spring shackle snapped punching a hole though the truck bed opening it up like a tuna can while i was on the highway and nearly lost control in a construction zone where there were quite a few people working on the side of the road. Did some investigating and it seems like a pretty common problem for the 04-07 titans and am wondering why i (or the thousands of others who've had the same problem) were not informed about this from the fine folks at nissan before people get killed. I would have paid to replace them myself had i just been told..... Its not about the money... Safety is number one in my book especially when i'm hauling around my 18 month old in something that the factory knows has a life threatening defect and doesn't tell anyone!!!!!!!! Sincerely pissed!! |
