Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan titan. The contact was driving 15 mph when the vehicle exhibited an unusual bang from underneath. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the entire drive shaft fractured from the vehicle and the rear differential had locked. The dealer repaired and replaced the drive shaft, rear differential and the rear seal transfer case. The dealer stated that the front differential pinion flange fractured, causing the failure.
