Description of the problemNissan titan front & rear differential failure - i purchased the nissan titan - off road/big tow package in july 2005 and primarily used the vehicle on the road. Experienced a slight clicking noise in the front end and brought it to my dealer. The dealer informed me that the front differential was damaged and the right front axle was not attached to the differential. While at the dealer i asked them to check the clunking noise from the rear end. First they stated nothing was wrong and then 24 later after considerate prompting the dealer informed me that the rear end need to be replaced. Nissan usa paid for the front differential (parts only) and has rejected my request to replace the rear differential. Based on the number of complaints on this site and other sites nissan needs to step up to this issue.
