| Description of the problem | I have a nissan titan kingcab 4x4 with 36,000 miles. It started making noises when i would turn a corner in town, this kept getting worse, and then started sounding like gears were "jumping" teeth, and the pickup would jerk when this happened. Three days latter it became extremely severe and would make a loud noise from the rearend, and jerk even with starting slowly from a start. I took it to the nissan dealer as it was still under warranty, and they told me that the rearend was bad and needed replaced. I was also told by the nissan dealer that 60 other nissan dealers in the us were waiting for rearends to fix this problem also. My pickup has been in the shop for 3 weeks and the dealer can't tell me when they will have a rearend to fix it. |
