Description of the problem	Was hearing the rear end humming for a little while when on may 6, 2009 my 2005 nissan titan's rear differential gave out in the middle of making a left hand turn in a busy intersection. Got very close to getting hit on drivers side, drivers had to maneuver around me going at least 50 mph. It kicked back in and was able to pull off the road. Continued to lock up on me afterwards, it is now in shop getting the rear differential replaced.
