Description of the problem	The vehicle is a 2005 nissan titan se king cab 4x4 pickup truck with approx. 60k miles. While driving on the road in two wheel drive under normal conditions the c-clip that retains the front drivers side axle within the front differential failed allowing the axle to separate from the front differential, disabling the capability of the engaging four wheel drive, and damaging the external splines on the axle shaft, as well as the internal engaging splines in the front differential. The parts have not been replaced due to the truck being out of the 60k mile power train warranty by the time i arrived at the dealership. Parts and labor estimated at ~$3400.
