Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan titan. While driving approximately 80 mph, the vehicle stalled. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The fuel gauge reflected a quarter of a tank available. The contact coasted the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The contact called a family member to bring some fuel. As soon as the fuel was added, the vehicle started normally. The contact also stated that the failure occurred three other times, but the vehicle would start when fuel was added. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 210,000. |
