Description of the problem	My 2005 nissan tornadoes in the middle of the oklahoma turnpike and interstate i-44 causing one of the lanes to be temporarily closed. After warrington a tow truck and being towed to the nearest nissan dealership, i was informed that the only issue was the fuel gauge was not registering the correct level of gas in the vehicle. Although the gauge read 38 of a tank remaining, there was no fuel in the truck. The nissan mechanics said this was a recall on this year titan, but once he checked the vin, my vehicle was not listed as part of the recall. This is an extreme safety issue as the vehicle can die at any time in any conditions causing lane closures or wrecks due to the sudden fuel issue with no warning. If nissan has recalled for this exact issue on the 2005 titan, and this issue is affecting a 2005 titan, i believe without doubt they have mistakenly omitted certain vin numbers. If this issue ultimately causes injury or in the worst scenario, a fatality due to their vehicle dying in the middle of a traffic situation, nissan should take responsibility and be held accountable.
