Description of the problem	I was driving and made a turn from one major street to the next. I merged into the middle lane of a 3 lane road and my truck completely lost power. The vehicle behind me squealed its tires to avoid running into the back of me. I let the truck continue to move without applying brakes or i would have ended up stalled in the middle of a 3 lane busy road. The truck wouldn't even turn into the very right land without me turning the wheel hard. I pulled off onto a side street and called aaa. The vehicle register at a 1/4 of a tank of gas. The aaa driver added $2 worth of gas to the tank but it did not start. I was towed to a aaa approved shop about 2 miles away and when the shop owner went to take the truck off the tow bed it started right up. The owner said that it was just out of gas even though the gauge read a 1/4 of a tank. I went directly to a gas station and it took 25. 695 gallons of gas. There is a recall for 2005 nissan titans but my vin number is not pulling it up. Nhtsa campaign number 10v074000 instrument panel fuel gauge.
