| Description of the problem | Was accelerating after coming to a stop at a stop sign. Got up to about 15 mph when all of a sudden the engine died in the middle of traffic. Tried to restart but could not. Coasted into a side street. Fuel gauge indicated that the vehicle still had 1/8 of a tank of fuel. After putting in about a half of a gallon of gasoline was able to get to a gas station. Once truck was full it ran with no problem. A week later i ran the fuel down to the same amount (1/8) where the truck had died before. This time i had a spare gas can with me. The vehicle died again. |
