| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2004 nissan titan. The contact stated the rear axle seal leaked and began spraying differential fluid on the brakes while driving 70 mph. When the failure occurred the braking distance increased on the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer who stated the rear axle seal leak was very common. The dealer stated the entire rear axle needed to be replaced in order to remedy the failure. The contact did not replace the rear axle. The failure mileage was 75,000. |
