Description of the problem	Drivers side door mechanism freezes. Door can be opened from the inside but will not latch and close properly. This cause the driver to hold the door closed or to lock themselves in the car, to try and defeat the latch mechanism. Nissan dealer has been contacted, but they claim no manufacturer responsibility, although they do have a $500 fix, for this non-safety related issue.
