| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2004 nissan titan. The contact was driving 45 mph when the brake warning light illuminated. The contact abnormally depressed the brake pedal into the floorboard but the vehicle failed to respond. The anti-lock braking system also activated erroneously but was the only functioning brake system on the vehicle at the time. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised the contact that the computer needed to be reset. The computer was reset however failure recurred three weeks later. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and offered to assistance with the contact with the cost of the computer reset. The current and the failure mileage was 106,771. |
