| Description of the problem | Brakes made a grinding noise when applied and didn't slow vehicle when applied. Turned off vehicle. Restarted and brakes worked fine again. This happened a few times before dealer said it was a c1179 delta boost sensor fault and they replaced the brake booster. Happened again two years later same problem. This time dealer said the rear axle seal was leaking and leaking on brakes also found that the ecm on the booster that was replaced 2 years ago was never updated. Reprogrammed. Problem reoccurred a week later. This has occurred on the highway, side streets, going straight, turning, driving at 60, driving at 10. No rhyme or reason. |
