| Description of the problem | While taking a exit ramp at approximately 45 mph brake light came on and when the brakes were applied due to stopping traffic pedal went to the floor with a grinding sound. I had to swerve to the right to avoid the car in front of me and went past 2 cars before stopping in the emergency lane. I turned the engine off and when i restarted the light was gone. Reported this to the nissan dealer .... They stated they have never heard of it before..... There are hundreds of reports on the internet and also filed with nhtsa. According to the dealer they will do nothing until a recall. I certainly hope no one dies from this as the class action lawsuit that will follow will be very embarrassing to nhtsa, dot, and nissan as you have all been made very aware of this.... |
