Description of the problem	Front left axle slid out from differential. The retaining c-clip on the axle was intact but did not retain the axle. This has the potential to cause a catastrophic failure of the front differential. This was found when the vehicle was stationary. The vehicle leaked fluid on the garage floor, upon investigating the leak the failure was identified. Otherwise the vehicle was operating normally with no indication of the failure.
