| Description of the problem | I own a 2004 nissan titan le 2 wheel drive with 74,600 miles. I found that i had a left rear axle seal leaking. Took it to dealer to get it fix and was told that the right side should be replaced also but at $600. 00 a crack to replace one side i could only afford to do the bad one. After researching the internet about other owners of titans having the same problems with their rear axle seals prematurely failing with low mileage i think niacin needs to look into this problem. It a sham that they charge you $500 to $600 to have these replaced when you can buy the bearings off the internet for $75. 00.... |
