| Description of the problem | Rear differential failure. Attempting to cross traffic when rear differential broke internally and had to have vehicle towed from scene (nearly hit by oncoming traffic). This is a known consumer problem, that has been seriously denied by the manufacturer. Several people have complained of having these units replaced several times!! The potential exists to have the rear wheels to become locked up in the event of a failure!!!!!! Why has no investigation been opened?? Several consumers have gone to aftermarket equipment replacement because of the high failure rate. This problem is happening in 2004-2006 model year vehicles!!!! |
