| Description of the problem | I currently own a 2004 titan crew cab with tow package and i have 80,000 mi. On this truck. Throughout the ownership it has been reliable for work and pleasure. I do tow a trailer, avg. Weight is 4000 lbs.. I have had front brake issues, nissan took care of until it was 3yr. S old, however since i have installed american made drilled rotors. The rear was replaced at 71k, it is a dana rear and uses gears made in china. It was covered under warranty, however it will not last long again. The problem is not design itself it is the quality of the metal being used for the gears. Any clunking, popping sounds from rear it needs to be replaced! Otherwise it is a good truck for the money. *jb |
