Description of the problem	Right rear axle seal leaking, fluid leaking onto brake assembly; left rear axle seal seeping. Seals had been leaking for a while. All problems fixed by dealer, but nissan should use an improved axle seal, and a different axle vent system. The vent does not allow air pressure to return into the axle housing when there is a negative pressure situation. A long vent hose run upwards in the body with a filter is a suggested solution on www. Titantalk. Com, and people that have experienced numerous axle seal failures have performed this fix and no longer experience problems. Nissan should recall all titans and pathfinders with this axle vent system and repair the vent with something better. Until this is performed, axle seals will continue to fail and fluid will continue to potentially leak onto brake assemblies. *jb
