Description of the problem	Brakes feel like the abs has engaged and the following warning light on the dash come on; brake, vdc off, slip, and service engine. This started happening soon after i purchased the truck new. Dealer ran diagnostics but couldn't find anything. This problem has happened well over 20 times while backing out of my driveway and driving at high and low speeds. Once this happens the brakes feel mushy and make a loud grinding noise. The only fix is to stop the truck, put it in park and stop and restart the engine. This is dangerous when it happens on the freeway. The occurrence of this problem is very intermittent. Last occurrence was on july 25th and before that july 18th. It may go a month or so before happening again. Two other employees at my company also have 2004 titans and have the same problem. My local nissan dealer suggest that the next time it happens to bring it to them so that their mechanic can see the issue first hand.
